#1. Fordham University
441 E Fordham Rd
Bronx, NY 10458
Yay Fordham! I love this school. Best four years of my life (so far). Obvious perks: beautiful campus with grassy knolls and collegiate-looking buildings in the middle of the Bronx, close enough to Manhattan, but far enough away so that campus life is vibrant. Less obvious perks: great faculty (as long as you do a little research on ratemyprofessor to avoid the bombs), small classes (very few huge lecture-type classes here), and, most importantly, great people. There is very little pretension here: no NYU condescending hipster bullshit, but no Columbia holier-and-smarter-than-thou stuff either. Yes, there are exceptions, but everyone that I knew and hung out with was funny, cool, laid-back, and fun. I really do believe that there is a spot for everyone at Fordham- if you want to do your own thing, that’s cool, and if you want to be a part of the campus, even better. LOVE IT. Wish I could go back.

I don’t know where to start, may begin from the day i first came here.
I heard about it both good&bad reputation before. I don’t know about other majors in the school, but for fashion, FIT definitely reaches the top of fashion design level. During the days I was there, I spent most of energy on study, cuz we really had a lot of homework. And maybe i was lucky, all the professors i met were so nice that they tought us a lot. i learned much technics during the days in FIT and i am really appreciate it, which helped me set feet in the fashion world. I LOVe FIT!
